Take a thrilling flight to the skies aboard the world’s tallest moving observation tower and take in stunning unfolding views over Brighton and the beautiful Sussex coastline like you have never seen them before. British Airways i360 conceived and designed by Marks Barfied Architects – the creators of the London Eye – is the world’s first vertical cable car and world’s most slender tower, offering guests a truly amazing experience.Your journey begins when you enter a fully enclosed, aerodynamically shaped, futuristic glass viewing pod, with room for up to 200 visitors to move around in. The viewing pod will slowly ascend to a height of 138 meters (453 feet) – three times the height of Nelson’s Column – where you will be rewarded with unrivalled and breathtaking 360 degree views for up to 26 miles. Brighton has amazing panoramas with miles upon miles of bright blue sea, a labyrinth of tiny streets that make up the famous lanes, the dramatic chalk cliffs, the wild expanse of the South Downs National Park and the UNESCO World Biosphere. No other landscape is so unique and varied. During the evening, British Airways i360 will transform into the Sky Bar, the most individual bar in the UK.At the end of your ride, the viewing platform will descend to the beach building at the base of the tower, on the lower promenade, where you will find a stylish brasserie, heritage tea rooms, an exhibition, kid’s playzone and a shop.
